Checklists

Checklists are short routines. They are not here to control, they build time-architecture: small repetitions that stabilize perception and make decisions more carryable.

A good checklist is not bureaucracy. It is a return point: What do we check before we run? What do we hold before we lose something important?

What checklists are best for

Before decisions
So commitment doensn’t arise from pressure, but from framing.

After transitions
So nothing is merely “handed over”, but actually taken on.

Weekly / monthly
So signals remain visible, even when things feel quiet.

Typical outputs

  • a short reality check (instead of “we assume”)
  • a shared minimum standard (instead of implicit expectations)
  • an explicit review point (instead of sliding through)
  • a small, repeatbale practice (instead of one-off initiative)

Start: three minimal routines

  • Weekly Signal Check (10 min) → this workshop element is under construction
  • Decision Check (10 min) → this workshop element is under construction
  • Handover Check (15 min) → this workshop element is under construction
