This Privacy Policy explains the nature, scope, and purpose of processing personal data when you visit archimetis.de, and informs you about your rights under the GDPR.

We process personal data in particular on the following legal bases:

- Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests)

- Section 25(2) TDDDG (technically necessary cookies/device access under German law)

5. Data security
We use HTTPS/SSL encryption and implement technical and organisational measures to protect data against loss, unauthorised access, and misuse.
A. Data processing when visiting the website
6. Web hosting and provision of the website
Purpose: providing the website, ensuring stability, security, and error analysis.
Data processed: IP address, date/time, accessed pages/files, referrer URL, user agent, status codes, and potentially other server log data.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation).
Recipients: web host as processor: Strato GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany
Storage period: maximum 7 days, then deletion or anonymisation.
7. Cookies and consent management
We use cookies and similar technologies. Some are technically necessary; others serve statistics/marketing purposes (only with consent where required).

If you contact us, we process your information to handle your request.
Purpose: processing and responding to inquiries; follow-up communication where necessary.
Data: name (if provided), e-mail address, phone number (if provided), message content, meta/communication data (e.g., timestamps).
Legal basis:
- Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract / pre-contractual measures), or
- Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in communication), or
- Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), where explicitly obtained.
Storage period: until the request is resolved; longer only if retention obligations apply or we have a legitimate documentation interest. Guideline: 12 month
9. Comment function (only if enabled)
If you leave comments, we process the data you enter.
Purpose: publication and administration of comments; abuse prevention and legal enforcement (spam/abuse).
Data: comment text, username/pseudonym, time of submission, potentially IP address (security/anti-spam).
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operation/security) and, where applicable, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent, if implemented).
Storage period: until the comment is deleted or as long as required for moderation/evidence.
C. Reach measurement and marketing
10. Google Analytics
If you have consented, we use Google Analytics to analyse how the website is used.
Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Ireland.
Purpose: reach measurement, usage analysis, optimisation of content and the website.
Data: usage data (e.g., page views, interactions), technical data (e.g., browser, device), online identifiers (cookies/IDs), IP address (technically required).
Legal basis: Section 25(1) TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
Recipients / third-country transfers: Data may be transferred to Google servers outside the EU (in particular the USA). Depending on configuration/contract, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., adequacy decision/DPF and/or Standard Contractual Clauses).
Storage period: 12 month
Withdrawal: You can withdraw consent at any time via “Cookie settings”.
D. External content and services
11. Fonts / icons (Google Fonts / Font Awesome)
We may embed fonts and icon libraries to display content correctly. If fonts/icons are served from our own server, no separate connection to third-party providers is established solely for font loading.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a,f) GDPR (legitimate interest in stable presentation)
12. Social media presences
We operate publicly accessible profiles, e.g. on LinkedIn, Medium, Pinterest, Youtube, and potentially others.
When visiting these profiles, the platforms process personal data under their own responsibility. We may receive aggregated statistics/insights provided by the platforms.
Purpose: public relations, communication, reach.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in public presence).

E. Content with VG WORT (METIS counting pixel)
13. VG WORT / METIS pixel
Certain texts may include a VG WORT counting pixel (METIS).
Provider: Verwertungsgesellschaft WORT (VG WORT), Munich, Germany.
Purpose: counting text accesses for remuneration settlement.
Data: counting information regarding accesses; technical information may be processed (e.g., timestamp/browser data).
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in remuneration settlement) or – if managed via consent – Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Objection/withdrawal: You can withdraw consent at any time via “Cookie settings”.
F. Contracts, payments, accounting (if relevant)
14. Paid services and invoicing
If we offer paid services (e.g., workshops, digital products), we process contract and billing data.
Purpose: contract performance, invoicing, accounting.
Data: name, address, contact details, service/contract data, payment information (e.g., incoming payments, payment reference), invoice data.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract) and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (statutory retention obligations).
Recipients: Currently, there are no external recipients; payments are made directly to us.
Storage period: according to statutory requirements (typically several years).
G. Recipients, processors, third-country transfers
15. Recipients of data
We transfer personal data only where necessary, e.g. to:
- processors (hosting, IT service providers, newsletter/CRM/analytics providers – depending on use)
- public authorities, where legally required
- service providers for contract performance (e.g., payment providers)
We enter into processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR where required.
16. Transfers to third countries
When using certain services, data may be transferred to countries outside the EU/EEA (e.g., the USA). Where required, we ensure appropriate safeguards (e.g., adequacy decision/DPF, Standard Contractual Clauses).
H. Deletion and retention

We store personal data only as long as required for the respective purposes or as required by law. Afterwards, data is deleted or anonymised.
